Jordan Brand 2012 Summer Preview

As many of you might know, the 6/7 'Gold Medal Package' has been causing a uproar on the forums. Some people like the 6's more than the 7's and some other feel different. Well here is a line up of some summer hopefuls for us. As you can see, there is the Olympic 7, Olympic 6, and some retro 1 that seem to have the same colorways as the 'Gold Medal Package' and Olympic 6's. Which pairs will you be after? Bo Jackson x Nike LunarTR1 "Bo Bikes 'Bama" Pack

 

Bo Jackson, the multi-sport sensation and legend of Nike Training, is riding his bike on a 300-mile journey through the tornado ravaged communities of his home state Alabama. Nike is outfitting Bo with special colorways of the new Nike LunarTR1 shoe, commemorating his success across sports and contributions to his college and pro teams. Bo will wear these shoes during the journey while off his bike. Designed for multi-sport training, the Nike LunarTR1 shoe officially launches June 29 and features superior cushioning, durability and breathability.
Following Bo’s ride across the state, there will be an April 28th event at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheatre where Bo, victims’ families, ride sponsors, survivors and supporters will gather to celebrate those affected by the disaster. At the amphitheatre, there will be an on-site auction to raise additional funds for the Governor’s Emergency Relief Fund.  The special Nike LunarTR1 shoes will be auctioned at this event. These versions of the shoe will not be available outside of the auction, but the shoe will officially launch globally on June 29 in multiple colors.
Bo's goal is to raise $1 Million for the Governor's Emergency Relief Fund to help with unmet recovery needs resulting from the deadly tornados that hit Alabama in April 2011. Additional Nike athletes including Ken Griffey Jr., Scottie Pippen, Picabo Street and Lance Armstrong will join Bo along his ride across Alabama.

Based on the true story of Shepard Fairey’s first act of street art, OBEY THE GIANT tells the story of a young skate punk challenging a big-city mayor and the powers-that-be at art school. Frustrated by his inability to gain respect within the confines of art school Shepard sets out to gain notoriety and acclaim by targeting the most powerful man in Providence, former Mayor Buddy Cianci. Risking expulsion and jail time Shepard plasters Andre the Giant’s face over the image of Cianci on a campaign billboard. As word of Shepard’s prank gets out, Shepard learns that art is a weapon and attention is both a blessing and a curse. Nike Air Force 1 High XXX Boot - Black/Black & Olive/Olive

 

Yesterday Nike gave us at look at the first colorway of the Air Force 1 High XXX boot which is inspired by  Nike's Special Field Boot. Here are two new colorways which are the black on black and olive green. The materials on these seem to be a boot leather and suede combination with metal lace hole.
