Jordan Brand 2012 Summer Preview

As many of you might know, the 6/7 'Gold Medal Package' has been causing a uproar on the forums. Some people like the 6's more than the 7's and some other feel different. Well here is a line up of some summer hopefuls for us. As you can see, there is the Olympic 7, Olympic 6, and some retro 1 that seem to have the same colorways as the 'Gold Medal Package' and Olympic 6's. Which pairs will you be after? Bo Jackson x Nike LunarTR1 "Bo Bikes 'Bama" Pack

 

Bo Jackson, the multi-sport sensation and legend of Nike Training, is riding his bike on a 300-mile journey through the tornado ravaged communities of his home state Alabama. Nike is outfitting Bo with special colorways of the new Nike LunarTR1 shoe, commemorating his success across sports and contributions to his college and pro teams. Bo will wear these shoes during the journey while off his bike. Designed for multi-sport training, the Nike LunarTR1 shoe officially launches June 29 and features superior cushioning, durability and breathability.
Following Bo’s ride across the state, there will be an April 28th event at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheatre where Bo, victims’ families, ride sponsors, survivors and supporters will gather to celebrate those affected by the disaster. At the amphitheatre, there will be an on-site auction to raise additional funds for the Governor’s Emergency Relief Fund.  The special Nike LunarTR1 shoes will be auctioned at this event. These versions of the shoe will not be available outside of the auction, but the shoe will officially launch globally on June 29 in multiple colors.
Bo's goal is to raise $1 Million for the Governor's Emergency Relief Fund to help with unmet recovery needs resulting from the deadly tornados that hit Alabama in April 2011. Additional Nike athletes including Ken Griffey Jr., Scottie Pippen, Picabo Street and Lance Armstrong will join Bo along his ride across Alabama.

Obey The Giant - The 1st Narrative Film About Obey

 

Based on the true story of Shepard Fairey’s first act of street art, OBEY THE GIANT tells the story of a young skate punk challenging a big-city mayor and the powers-that-be at art school. Frustrated by his inability to gain respect within the confines of art school Shepard sets out to gain notoriety and acclaim by targeting the most powerful man in Providence, former Mayor Buddy Cianci. Risking expulsion and jail time Shepard plasters Andre the Giant’s face over the image of Cianci on a campaign billboard. As word of Shepard’s prank gets out, Shepard learns that art is a weapon and attention is both a blessing and a curse. Nike Air Force 1 High XXX Boot - Black/Black & Olive/Olive

 

Yesterday Nike gave us at look at the first colorway of the Air Force 1 High XXX boot which is inspired by  Nike's Special Field Boot. Here are two new colorways which are the black on black and olive green. The materials on these seem to be a boot leather and suede combination with metal lace hole. Nike SB x Levis Detailed Patch Image

Earlier this year news about a collaboration between Nike and Levis surfaced. Many people were in disbelief but as more information is surfacing, they are become believers. This picture of the patch of the Nike SB x Levis jeans surfaced and it seems as though we will be seeing the complete pack soon. No word on if the denim will be Levis 501's like the Jordan collab or not, but stay tuned for more information.

Nike Air Force 1 – Grey/Infrared/Royal

 

 Here is something that has not been seen on a pair of Air Force 1s in a while; a sewn on swoosh. The sewn swoosh is something that only showed up on JD Sports releases and now it seems that its going to be a worldwide release. The vibrant colors wide certainly turn heads. There is no release information on this pair as of yet, but be on the lookout for it soon. Hit the jump for more views.

Nike USA/Barcelona Olympic Pack

 

With the London Olympics only 100 days away, expect to be seeing more Olympic themed sneakers to be popping up soon. Here are four pairs from Nike with include two Dunk Highs and two Air Force 1s. The USA Dunk features an red leather and ripstop material while the Barcelona pair has a tumbled and smooth leather mix. The USA AF1 has a navy upper finished with a gold swoosh and a gum bottom, and the Barcelona pair is finished in a red leather upper and red weaved mesh with a black lining and swoosh. The part of the world I currently reside in does not have to many graffiti artist around to create masterpieces like these done by local members of The Wild Style Technicians and The Funky Lords crew. Nike SB Dunk Low x Premier Detailed Looked

In celebration of their 11th anniversary relationship with Nike SB, they have teamed up to create a special Dunk Low. The shoe takes its inspiration from where we reside in the Great Lakes and more specifically the western shore of Michigan.  The embossed leather represents the pattern found on the Petoskey stone, which is a fossilized coral found almost exclusively in our region of the United States.  The sole is a translucent deep blue, and when the light hits, transforms into a bright crystal blue.  Much like when the sun shines on Lake Michigan.  The soft grey suede and bright white textured swoosh represent the various clouds that roll across the shores.

Nike Air Penny V “Suns”

The Nike Air Penny V has been a hit since clear shots of the “Miami” colorway popped up and this “Suns” colorway is sure to add to it.From the looks of it, the upper is covered in a dark grey nubuck, and a black hit with a rave-pink fading into a court-purple.  There is no official information regarding this colorway or its release, but rumor has it they will see a December release and will retail for $160. Stay tuned for more information about the Penny V as it surfaces.

Andrew Myers' - Screw Art

Many of you might not be familiar with Andrew Myers, but he is not the average type of artist you see with paint (even though he uses it); he takes it to a whole other level with power tools and screws. Check out the video of the newest work of art called "Fading Thoughts" after the jump.

Nike Air Force 1 Samples - Fall/Winter 2012 Preview

 With it being the 30th anniversary for the Air Force 1, Nike is doing some special things with the model by bring the past to the present (with the jewels swoosh rumored for the fall, white on white midsole & sole, and a few other things), but the shape will never be the same as a pre '07 release. Looking at the picture of the 2012 fall samples, you can see that Nike is coming heavy with the use of the bright color combinations, and you can view new colorways of the Duckboot AF1. You can also notice the sewn swoosh on the bottom right pair that is known for being on JD exclusives. Do you see anything that might interest you? Stay tuned for more Air Force 1 information.

OBEY x MTN Spray Cans

 

Montana Colors and OBEY has collaborated to make these OBEY limited edition spray cans.  Each model represents one of the three classic OBEY colors: black, cream and red. Only 500 units were made in each color.  Each can comes in a Wooden box with a star stamp and is signed by Shepard Fairey in black marker. The price on these is $35 and they will release 4/17/2012 at a random time on Obey Giant with a limit of 1 can per person. Hit the jump for views of the cans.

2012 NIKE She Runs LA Crew

Nike Woven Street Gato

 

Originally created as a performance product for small-sided football, the Gato gets the NIKE Sportswear makeover in the shape of the Woven Street Gato. The low profile silhouette with a traditional upper, plus its great performance and style attributes make it ripe for a NIKE Sportswear makeover. This Woven Street Gato is given a luxury treatment using high-grade leathers on the original performance tooling. The addition of a basket-style weave on the upper within the large open panel adds to the luxury effect as well as the all-leather interior on the shoe's lining. 

Nike Air Force 1 Low Max Air VT - Camouflage "XXX Collection"

 

With it being the 30th year of the Nike Air Force 1 in existence, the folks at Nike Sportswear is finally creating something that Air Force 1 fans are excited for. The first addition to the "XXX" collection was the Peral Collection and the next with be the "Camouflage" Low. It features a VT upper dressed in a camo with a leather backtab, lining and eyestay. The midsole is a full visible Air Max unit siting on a smoked outsole. There is no release date on these yet but be on the look out for them really soon. Hit the jump for more angles.

Nike Zoom KD IV - Three 4 Five

 

The colors of recent Kevin Durant releases seem to get brighter each time. This colorway is no different. As you can see, it features a white upper with neon and punch accents complete with a photo blue. These same colors are available on Nike iD but not in the same locations as this PE. The back of the shoe has Durant on a bike and the words "Three 4 Five" on the front of the tongue. No word if KD will keep this colorway for himself or if he will release it to the public, stay tuned for information if it happens. Hit the jump for more pics of the shoe.

Foot Locker x Nike "Air For All"

 

In the coolest new development in advertising in a while, Nike and Foot Locker got together to create an outstanding new cartoon campaign for the summer. While a full film debuts on FootLocker.com April 6th, today we have a trailer for the new Foot Locker x Nike “Air For All,” featuring cartoon versions of Nike-affiliated athletes and legends, such as Bo Jackson, Ken Griffey Jr, Clay Matthews (who has a creepy kind of Zsasz thing going on), Megan Rapinoe, Kevin Durant, Allyson Felix and Charles Barkley. First Look: Nike LeBron 9 Low - Metallic Silver/Turquoise/Flash Pink

 

With pictures of the "South Beach" LeBron 9 Elites still making people excited, they is something else that might be coming with a similar colorway in the future. This LeBron 9 Low feature a metallic silver upper with flash pink and turquoise accents to accompany it. Will be be seeing a low top version of more future colorways? If you remember the SLH  9 Low then there might be some coincidence going on here. Stay tuned for more information as in surfaces.
